Here's a direct link to Byrne's own recap, including his helmet-cam video that visualizes the hazards of biking in Times Square.

Yes, a great show. Although I'm often a little ambivalent leaving gatherings like this (why doesn't change happen faster?), it was good to be among the converted. And Vicki, your brother was hilarious. He stole the show. Hats off to David Byrne for putting this to together.

I came to NYC from London for a shopping trip this weekend, and discovered that my brother Jonathan Wood was appearing in this event.
Taking a break from dodging traffic on 5th Avenue I decided to see the show, and am I so glad I did. It was a life changing moment for me. I discovered two things I didn’t know:
1. How you New Yorkers need to get on your bikes. In 85 degrees, I thought the stores were being helpful by blasting iced air onto the streets – now, alongside said traffic, I'm shocked at thought of NYC’s primary carbon footprint - and, like never before, at the size of the task we all face in addressing climate change.
2. My brother is funny. After all these years, I’ve finally got the deadpan thing, Jonathan! Importantly, I think it helped – and will help – get your message across to a wider audience. We’ll talk about the comedy career later…
