Photos from our Streetfilms & Streetsblog Gala Event!
Thanks to the over 100 of you who turned out for our annual fundraiser "Streets of the Future" at Bicycle Habitat in Brooklyn back in November. We were able to raise thousands of dollars to help fund our continued work. We especially want to thank our sponsors: Velojoy.com, Cycles Gladiator, Brooklyn Brewery, Adam White and a super thank you to Charlie McCorkell at Bicycle Habitat who closed the store all day to let us set up. And to everyone who donated items to the auction, all of our wonderful volunteers and those of you spoke about our work in such delightful words.
There are hundreds of other photos to check out as well at our Flickr link here. Thanks to our volunteer photographer H. Zeke Mermell who did a smashingly spectactular job.

Streetsblog's Ben Fried presents the Streetsie award to our featured speaker Councilmember Brad Lander of Brooklyn. He has truly been a defender of safe streets for cyclists and pedestrians.

Enjoying the Flux Capacitor prop are Clarence Eckerson Jr (Streetfilms), Doug Gordon (BrooklynSpoke.com), Mark Gorton (founder Open Plans) and Noah Budnick (Transportation Alternatives)
