My 24 Hour Trip to DC is all about Togas, Bike Share & Tiny Bike Messages of Love!

When I boarded an Amtrak Wednesday morning for Washington, DC to go shoot some interviews for a great ciclovia project I am working on, I stuck around to grab some extra b-roll of D.C. cyclists at rush hour. Little did I know with that decision an adventure began. I'll start off with this 1 minute […]

Toga Toga Toga: DC Bike Party

L.A.’s Freedom Ride: BKoB

On the fourth Sunday of every month, cyclists take over the streets of Los Angeles as part of the "Black Kids on Bikes" (BKoB) ride. BKoB is part of a series of rides called the "Freedom Rides" aimed at getting more black Angelenos to enjoy the unique experience of a safe, fun group cycle ride for kids. Despite it's name, the ride is open to riders of all races and skill levels.

SF Critical Mass Halloween 2008

On my recent West Coast Streetfilms swing, I got to jump into the San Francisco Critical Mass dressed as a "bee" (ironically my childhood nickname!) Although we don't often cover alot of critical mass here on our pages, I thought this one would be apropos since it promised to have up to 5,000 participants, and […]

In Brooklyn there is a monthly Critical Mass that has had no arrests or tickets issued for three years!
