Welcome: Robin Urban Smith
If you've seen today's Streetfilm on Block Parties (edited by our amazingly talented Elizabeth Press) then you have also seen a little bit of the camera work of our amazingly talented intern Robin Urban Smith.
Besides having an awesomely cool middle name, Robin brings a passion for media as an advocacy tool. Her past projects have explored transportation, food culture, refugee communities, and youth leadership. Robin has worked with the Center for Media and Democracy, Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, the Humanities Council of DC.
We are happy she is aboard. Among the things she is going to help us do is get our archive house in order, help shoot Block Parties all summer long, and assist Elizabeth in putting together some more fun animations for our traffic calming series which have proved very popular.
Welcome Robin!

Cool! Welcome, Robin! (I've been wanting to call her Robin "Danger" Smith since she started, but I've been resisting...)
Thanks Nick and Clarence, its great to be here!
It was wonderful to see your name...and work. We look forward to more! Of course, we hope you mentioned your visits to Troy to Ms. Press.
Love all the new videos including Block Party and Great Public Spaces! Washington DC needs some bike and pedestrian friendly promotions. Ciao!
