After 20 Years & 1,120+ Streetfilms Look at all these Wonderful Selfies!
I chose to do 4 × 4 grids because the were easiest to work with in Fotor. At first I endeavored to put together a 10 × 10 grid and then print out a giant 30” x 30” poster - print up a dozen and hand them out and frame one. But it became difficult to manage, so I just broke them out like this.
The first set really has some of my favorite people I worked with throughout my 20 years (or maybe just once but it was a lot of fun!) Here that would be JSK, Andy Thornley, Amy Hargareves, Gil Penalosa, Bicycle Dutch & George Hahn.
So much warmth and happiness, I feel like there has never been much documentation of me in action. But glad I would try to do selfies to remember. So many cool people here and stalwart legends of NYC including Paul Steely White, Christine Berthet, Ken Coughlin and Fred Kent. But also new faces and people producing content out there in this collection. And Mayor Val Plante of Montreal was very gracious to meet with me.
Much diversity in this grid of places (Buenos Aires, Ghent, Amsterdam, Bogota, Philly, Portland & more!) I had to throw in a photo of my best colleagues when we were a trio for many years with Elizabeth and Robin (all three of us in the STREETFILMS purple!)
And a final fun grid with some of the first years of Streetfilms and unintentionally now that I look at this grid we have all three Editor-in-Chiefs of Streetsblog, Aaron Naparstek (Streetsblog creator), Ben Fried and current honcho Gersh Kuntzman. Some more famous folks including Kate McKinnon, David Byrne, Randy Cohen and of course the purple Zozo.
